In Mold Label introduction
- What is In Mold Label (IML)?
- IML is a manufacturing process that attaches a label attached to a plastic container simultaneously with molding.
- It reduces the process of attaching the existing pressure sensitive label (PSL) and reduces the manufacturing time and cost loss because there is no use of adhesive. And it is environmentally friendly because of the restriction of use of adhesive.
- In-mold labeling is not a form attached to the surface of the container, but it is embedded in the inside of the container. Therefore, the finished product has a soft, smooth surface and is not easily peeled off and does not cause curling.
- IML has been growing steadily in North America and Europe recently. IML is increasing its market share as a new trend in the labeling market with its strong durability and beautiful appearance.
